Privacy policy
Your tasks are your work—not an advertising profile.
Effective July 17, 2026
TaskPort is a task manager for people and AI agents. This policy explains what information TaskPort collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
TaskPort collects the following when you create and use an account:
- Email address, used to create, authenticate, and secure your account.
- User identifier, used to associate your account with your TaskPort data.
- User content, including lists, tasks, subtasks, notes, due dates, priorities, and agent-access configuration you choose to create.
TaskPort does not use this information for advertising, marketing, analytics, or cross-app tracking. TaskPort does not sell your personal information.
How we use information
We use the information above only to provide app functionality, including:
- Creating and authenticating your account.
- Synchronizing your lists and tasks across supported devices.
- Enabling MCP-compatible agents to access your tasks when you explicitly create an agent token.
- Protecting the service, preventing abuse, and maintaining reliability.
AI agent access
TaskPort lets you create revocable credentials for MCP-compatible AI agents. You choose whether an agent receives Read Only or Read & Write access. Agent tokens are shown once, stored by TaskPort only as secure hashes, and can be revoked from the app.
Anyone who has a valid token can exercise its assigned permissions. Store tokens securely and revoke any token you no longer trust.
Service providers
TaskPort uses Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and cloud synchronization. Information may be processed by this service provider solely to operate TaskPort and is also governed by its applicable privacy and security terms.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account information and user content while your account is active or as needed to provide TaskPort. You can delete individual lists, tasks, and agent credentials inside the app.
You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by email. Limited information may be retained when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to protect the service.
Security
TaskPort uses industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
TaskPort is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TaskPort evolves. We will update the effective date when changes are made.
